3rd September 2007 Windsurfing: Ynyslas Wind Direction: NW Wind Stength: 18-22 knots Surf / Sea State: Choppy Air Temperature: 17ºC Sea Temperature: 17ºC Weather: Sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: A lovely summery session, just as I thought autumn was approaching we get a nice sunny day with a decent seabreeze. The sort of day that makes you appreciate living by the sea as there was no way you would catch such a session otherwise. The wind just picked up beautifully in the afternoon so I couldn't resist a little blast. Nicely powered and at time maxed out on my 6.7m. Lots of nice fast runs skimming over the water in the sunshine. Some nice jumps too and lots of good duck gybes, probably some of my best ever, depsite the big sail... I know duck gybes are a little 'old school' and nothing special but I was enjoying them today.. No one else on the beach. |
